Technical Production Notes

Video Sensations uses high resolution 3-CCD digital camera equipment for the recording of the original video and state of the art computer based NLE (non linear editing) equipment for all digital post production editing. This ensures that the video you receive will be of the highest quality.  The final video that is delivered to our customers is normally on DVD, however upon request we can provide your video on VHS, S-VHS, 8mm or Mini-DV tape.  Only high grade professional quality media and video tapes are used.

Video Recording and Editing

The most important advantage of digital video recording is that the video and audio is information is transferred from the original Mini-DV tape to the computer for editing without any loss of picture or audio quality.

When editing in done in digital format on a computer there is no loss of quality during the editing process. Computer based editing also allows for a much greater level of creativity and variety and types of edits that can be done, which results in a video that is much more pleasing to watch.

Audio Recording

To insure the clearest possible audio recording of the ceremony or service, an inconspicuous wireless remote microphone is used which will transmit the sound directly to the camera. This results in a clear high quality audio recording while allowing the video camera to be positioned anywhere in the general area and the sound quality will be just like standing next to the subjects that are being photographed.  We also record a backup audio track using a digital recording device.

Lighting

To be discreet during the ceremony or service, no additional lighting is used unless we are specifically requested to do so and if the place of worship allows us to do so.  During the reception a small non-overpowering adjustable light may be used depending on the room lighting conditions at the time.

BackUp

We always have backup equipment with us at all times.
